Shailene Woodley is an American actor and activist. She gained fame for her role in the role of Alexandra King - a teenage addict on The Descendants. Her praiseworthy performance as Alexandra "Alex" King on The Descendants led to her taking on other parts effortlessly. Shailene managed to get a place of prominence in the film industry early in her career, which is itself an accomplishment. Shailene began her film career appearing in TV series and commercials.
