Dennings was in a relationship with Nick Zano from 2011-2014, her co-star in "2 Broke Girls". After their relationship ended, she began dating Josh Groban. They stayed together until the year 2016. Dennings first began to date musician Andrew W.K. in 2021. The couple soon began getting together. They announced their commitment to each other in the month of May 2021. Dennings was a lover of the musician from 2014 onwards. Dennings was raised Jewish however she has stated she does not consider religion to be an integral part of her day life.
