Alisyn Camerota
Alisyn Camerota is a journalist writer, author and anchor of CNN's morning show "New Day." She lives in Westport, CT, and was appointed to the Westport Country Playhouse's board of trustees. In her three decades in reporting, Camerota has covered stories both nationally and internationally. She was awarded her an Emmy Award for her breaking news coverage of the arrest of Roger Stone, and the famous Edward R. Murrow Award for her news breaking report on Hurricane Maria's effects in Puerto Rico. The board also has' changes Johnna G. Torsone of Stamford has been named honorary trustee following her service on the board since 2007 and Anna Czekaj Farber of Westport was elected as the chair after serving as board chair since 2013. Czekaj Farber succeeds Barbara Streicker from Westport who held the position of chairperson in the past year and was in that position since 2006. The board of trustees comprises 26 members.
