Alison Krauss

The initial wave of international fame was experienced by bluegrass musician Alison Krauss in 1990 when at age 19 years old, she was able to walk away from her first Grammy Awards with the trophy for Best Bluegrass Album. The third album of Krauss, I've Got That Old Feeling received the accolade even though she was barely 19 years older. Too Late To Cry is her first album. The album was released in Champaign Illinois when Krauss was 16. In the year 14 she signed her first contract with Rounder Records - one of the world's top folk music labels. Krauss is known for her incredible virtuosity and achievements, even when she was just a few years old. The devotion she has to bluegrass music which is among the oldest and most under-appreciated styles of the American traditions, is a constant. Krauss had now matured from a young teen star to an experienced artist and producer. Alison Alison Alison
